Twp. General Board Mtg. Synopsis

Twp. Zoning Ordinance
(UNDER CONSTRUCTION)

Township Hours:   Monday - Friday   9:00 am - 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Board Meetings are the second Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m.

Planning Commission meets the first Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m.

Zoning Board of Appeals meets on demand.

All meetings above are held at Township Hall.

Parks and Recreation Committee's next meeting is scheduled for    Meeting held at the Senior Center, 740 Capac Rd.  Volunteers of all ages are welcome.

Berlin Township is located in the southwest corner of St. Clair County

Berlin Township is a zoned community. Permits are required.  If you are planning a project call township hall for permit requirements!!!

Did you know?                          Berlin Township Ordinance Books can be purchased at the Township Hall for $20 ($25 if mailed).

St. Clair Count Plat Books can be purchased at the Berlin Township Hall for $27.

Rent Our Senior Hall

Many of our residents have birthdays, showers, family reunions and anniversary parties at our Senior Hall.
Residents may rent the Hall for $125.00 with a $100.00 deposit. Non-residents may rent it for $250.00 with a $100.00 deposit.

Call Township Hall for available dates and rental contract procedures.

        

          Burn Permits

Burn permits are available at Berlin Township Hall free of charge. You must fill out the proper paperwork for a permit. It is good for four days and you may extend it by calling the Township Hall. 

It is illegal to burn building materials in Michigan, this includes 2x4's.
